Arrive in Manali, the starting point of your journey to Lahaul and Spiti. Check into your hotel and freshen up. Explore Manali if time permits. Visit the Hadimba Temple, Manu Temple, or enjoy a stroll in the Mall Road. Rest and prepare for your journey to Lahaul and Spiti.
Early breakfast and departure from Manali. Drive towards Keylong, the administrative center of Lahaul. Enjoy the scenic drive through Rohtang Pass (weather permitting) and the picturesque landscapes of Lahaul. Arrive in Keylong, check into your accommodation, and relax.
After breakfast, drive from Keylong to Kaza, the main town in Spiti Valley. This drive will take you through the stunning landscapes of the Spiti Valley. Stop at notable places along the way, such as the village of Tabo and its ancient monastery. Overnight stay in Kaza.
Visit the Key Monastery, an important Tibetan Buddhist monastery located near Kaza. Explore the local markets and surrounding villages. Visit the nearby villages of Hikkim (home to one of the highest post offices in the world) and Komic (one of the highest villages in Asia). Return to Kaza, enjoy dinner, and relax.
Depart for Chandratal Lake, a stunning high-altitude lake. This drive is quite rugged, so be prepared for some off-road adventure. Arrive at Chandratal Lake and enjoy the breathtaking views. Spend time taking in the beauty of the lake and the surrounding landscape. Return to Kaza or camp near Chandratal Lake if you have the necessary arrangements.
After breakfast, start your return journey to Manali. This will be a long drive with scenic views along the way. Continue your drive through Rohtang Pass and head towards Manali. Arrive in Manali, check into your hotel, and relax after the long drive.
Depending on your departure time, you can either explore more of Manali or head straight to the airport/bus station. Depart from Manali for your onward journey.
