Overview

Teen Dham Yatra is a revered pilgrimage that takes devotees to three sacred Hindu shrines nestled amidst the stunning Himalayan ranges of Uttarakhand — Kedarnath, Badrinath, and Yamunotri. Organized by Mountains Chain Travel Pvt. Ltd., the journey typically begins from Haridwar or Rishikesh, first heading towards Yamunotri, located at an altitude of 3,291 meters in the beautiful Garhwal Himalayas. The Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, stands near the source of the Yamuna River, surrounded by towering peaks and pristine glaciers. From Yamunotri, the pilgrimage moves onward to Gangotri, situated at 3,048 meters amidst the Greater Himalayan Range. Here, the sacred Gangotri Temple, devoted to Goddess Ganga, marks the origin of the holy River Ganges. The spiritual journey then continues through scenic mountain trails and valleys toward Kedarnath, nestled at 3,583 meters in the awe-inspiring Kedar Range. Home to one of the twelve revered Jyotirlingas, the Kedarnath Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and offers an unforgettable experience of devotion amid breathtaking natural beauty.     Day 1: Delhi – Haridwar

    On arrival at Delhi Airport or Railway Station, you will be greeted by a Mountains Chain Travel Pvt. Ltd. representative. Proceed by road to Haridwar. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. In the evening, visit Har Ki Pauri to witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

    Day 2: Haridwar – Uttarkashi

    After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Later, visit the famous Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, and explore other temples like Annapurna Devi Temple, Ekadash Rudra, Bhairav, Gyaneshwar, and Goddess Kuteti Devi Temple. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

    Day 3: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi

    Today, we drive to Gangotri (3,048 meters), enjoying picturesque landscapes including the scenic Harsil Valley, the flowing Bhagirathi River, and breathtaking views of the Himalayas. After Darshan at Gangotri Temple, return to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

    Day 4: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi

    After an early breakfast, depart for Guptkashi. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Rest of the evening is at leisure. Overnight stay at Guptkashi.

    Day 5: Guptkashi – Sonprayag – Kedarnath – Guptkashi

    Early morning, drive to Sonprayag. Begin your trek from Sonprayag to Kedarnath (3,584 meters) on foot, by pony, or Doli (palanquin). Pilgrims are advised to carry personal essentials, including warm clothes and medicines, for the overnight stay at Kedarnath. After Darshan at Kedarnath Temple, return to Guptkashi. Overnight stay at Guptkashi.

    Day 6: Guptkashi – Badrinath

    After breakfast, drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. In the evening, visit the revered Badrinath Temple for Aarti. Overnight stay at Badrinath.

    Day 7: Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag

    After an early morning dip in the Tapt Kund, proceed for Darshan of Badrivishal. Visit nearby sites like Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund, and the origin of the Saraswati River. Later, drive back to Rudraprayag via Joshimath, known for its connection to Adi Shankaracharya and the Narsingh Temple. Check-in at the hotel in Rudraprayag. Overnight stay.

    Day 8: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh

    After breakfast, drive to Rishikesh. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Later, visit local attractions like Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Triveni Ghat, Bharat Mandir, and Parmarth Ashram. Overnight stay at Rishikesh.

    Day 9: Rishikesh – Haridwar – Delhi

    After breakfast, drive back to Delhi via Haridwar. Upon arrival in Delhi, transfer to the Railway Station or Airport for your onward journey.

    2. The company reserves the right to reschedule sightseeing days to ensure the smooth execution of tours. All guests must carry a valid Indian government-issued photo address proof, including for children.
    3. Please provide your pick-up and drop-off times.
    4. For those booking only the cab service, please book or look for hotels within a 9 to 10 km radius of the main city to avoid extra travel charges. Cab operator service hours for local sightseeing are from 09:00 AM to 07:00 PM. For safety reasons, please avoid late-night walks. If the vehicle is used late at night, additional compensation for the driver will be required. Please consider all sightseeing activities as per the time and travel schedule. There are no timing restrictions on arrival and departure days.
    5. Please respond by return mail so we can proceed with the advance booking formalities. Upon reflecting the amount in our account, we will send you a reservation voucher.
    6. Help us keep our surroundings clean by avoiding littering, spitting, drinking, and smoking in public places and in all aspects (advisory only).
    7. AC is complimentary in flat areas, but in hill stations, AC will not be used (mostly for North India and North East regions). All vehicles hired are on a point-to-point basis and not on disposal. If AC services are required in hill areas, it will be on a direct payment basis.
    8. Sightseeing days may need to be rescheduled due to the closing of any monument on a particular day to ensure the smooth execution of tours.
    9. Check-in and check-out times are as per hotel policies.
    10. Meal timings must be followed as instructed by the hotels. We shall not be responsible for any un-availed meals.
    11. In case of non-payment, either advance or remaining, the company has the right to stop services.
    12. We shall not be responsible for any cancellation of cabs or buses due to bad weather and are not liable for it.
    13. In Himachal, Leh Ladakh, Kashmir, Uttarakhand, and North East, the facilities of hotels, services, aids, etc., cannot be matched to developed destinations. Hotels in these regions are categorized based on location, services, and cost, and not as per star categorization (1*, 2*, 3*, 4*, 5*, etc.).

    15. Travel Documents: It is the responsibility of the traveler to ensure that all necessary travel documents, including passport, visa, and travel insurance, are in order.

    17. The company shall not be responsible for any delays or cancellations due to heavy traffic jams, blocked roads, technical faults, strikes, natural disasters, or any unforeseen events. Such situations may also require extra services at additional costs.
    18. Reservation Policy for Package Booking
    19. To secure your package booking, an initial payment of 50% is required at the time of reservation.
    20. The remaining 50% of the package cost will be collected either upon arrival on the first day of the tour or 1-7 days prior to the trip.

    22. For flight, train, or bus bookings, a 100% payment is required to confirm the reservation.

    29. Company's Rights: The company reserves the right to cancel or modify the tour itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances, including natural calamities, political unrest, or other factors beyond our control.

    2. -If cancelled 30 days or more prior to departure: 20% of the total tour cost will be deducted.
    3. -If cancelled between 15-29 days prior to departure: 50% of the total tour cost will be deducted.
    4. -If cancelled between 0-14 days prior to departure: 100% of the total tour cost will be deducted.
