Upon arrival at Leh Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. The day is designed for you to acclimatize to the high altitude and prevent any health issues. The most convenient way is to fly into Leh Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, which is well-connected to Delhi, Delhi, and occasionally other major cities.

You can undertake a long road trip by bus or private vehicle. The journey typically takes around 2 to 3 days via NH44 and NH3, passing through Manali or Srinagar.
Bus services are available from Delhi to Manali or Srinagar, from where you can continue by local transport to Leh.
From Srinagar or Manali:
Tourist permits are required, and the roads are open seasonally—generally from June to September.
Private taxis or shared jeeps can be hired for the journey.
There is no direct train to Leh. The nearest railway stations are in Jammu Tawi and Pathankot. From there, you can travel by road.
