It is also fine to travel during the monsoons as it does not rain much here in this region. You will also visit the 1000-year-old lang(temple). Reaching Spiti Valley depends on your starting point and the route you wish to take. Spiti can be accessed from two primary routes: one via Shimla (Kinnaur route) and the other via Manali (Rohtang Pass route). Here's a guide for both:

Best For: Year-round access; gradual altitude gain, making acclimatization easier.
Route: Delhi/Chandigarh → Shimla → Narkanda → Rampur → Sangla → Chitkul → Kalpa → Nako → Tabo → Kaza (Spiti).
By Road:
From Delhi: Hire a taxi, self-drive, or take a Volvo bus to Shimla, then continue towards Spiti.

By Train: Nearest railway station is Kalka, 85 km from Shimla. From there, take a toy train or cab to Shimla.

2. Manali Route (via Rohtang Pass): Seasonal
