Overview

Badrinath is a sacred town nestled between two majestic mountains — Nar and Narayan. It is also known as "Badri Van", meaning the forest of berries, where it is believed that Lord Vishnu meditated. The highlight of the town is the revered Badrinath Temple, one of the holiest shrines in India and a vital part of the Char Dham Yatra. Pilgrims traditionally take a holy dip in the Alaknanda River, near the Tapt Kund, a natural hot water spring believed to have therapeutic properties.  

  • Itinerary

    Day 1: Dehradun – Pipalkoti

    Arrive early morning at Haridwar Railway Station. Upon arrival, drive to Pipalkoti. On reaching Pipalkoti, check into the hotel. Enjoy a relaxed evening and overnight stay at the hotel.

    • Dinner

    Day 2: Pipalkoti – Badrinath

    After breakfast, proceed to Badrinath. On arrival, check into the hotel. Later, pilgrims can take a holy dip in the Taptkund and have Darshan of Badrivishal, followed by evening Aarti. Visit important sites such as Brahmakapal, which is significant for Pinddaan (rituals for ancestors). Other nearby attractions include: Mana Village: The last Indian village before Tibet, inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe. Vasundhara Falls: A magnificent waterfall located about 5 km from Badrinath, accessible by motorable road up to Mana village. Bhim Pul: A natural rock bridge over the roaring Saraswati River, believed to have been placed by Bhim, one of the Pandava brothers. Vyas Gufa: A rock cave where Ved Vyas is said to have composed the Mahabharata and various Puranic texts. Badrinath Weather Note: The temperature ranges between 8°C and 18°C. Warm and woollen clothes are necessary year-round. Winters are severe and often accompanied by snowfall, leading to closures for tourists. Overnight stay at Badrinath.

    Day 3: Badrinath – Joshimath

    Early morning, after another visit to the Taptkund and Darshan of Badrivishal, complete any pending rituals at Brahmakapal. After sightseeing, drive to Joshimath. Joshimath, one of the four sacred Maths established by Adi Shankaracharya, sits above the confluence of the Alaknanda and Dhauliganga Rivers. Check into the hotel and enjoy a peaceful overnight stay at Joshimath.

    Day 4: Joshimath – Auli – Joshimath

    After breakfast, check out from the hotel and head to Auli, a beautiful Himalayan ski resort known for its mesmerizing landscapes. Enjoy sightseeing at Auli, then return to Joshimath in the evening for an overnight stay at the hotel.

    Day 5: Joshimath – Rishikesh

    After breakfast, drive to Rishikesh, a renowned spiritual hub located on the banks of the holy Ganga River.     4. For those booking only the cab service, please book or look for hotels within a 9 to 10 km radius of the main city to avoid extra travel charges. Cab operator service hours for local sightseeing are from 09:00 AM to 07:00 PM. For safety reasons, please avoid late-night walks. If the vehicle is used late at night, additional compensation for the driver will be required. Please consider all sightseeing activities as per the time and travel schedule. There are no timing restrictions on arrival and departure days.
    5. Please respond by return mail so we can proceed with the advance booking formalities. Upon reflecting the amount in our account, we will send you a reservation voucher.
    6. Help us keep our surroundings clean by avoiding littering, spitting, drinking, and smoking in public places and in all aspects (advisory only).
    7. AC is complimentary in flat areas, but in hill stations, AC will not be used (mostly for North India and North East regions). All vehicles hired are on a point-to-point basis and not on disposal. If AC services are required in hill areas, it will be on a direct payment basis.
    8. Sightseeing days may need to be rescheduled due to the closing of any monument on a particular day to ensure the smooth execution of tours.
    9. Check-in and check-out times are as per hotel policies.
    10. Meal timings must be followed as instructed by the hotels. We shall not be responsible for any un-availed meals.
    11. In case of non-payment, either advance or remaining, the company has the right to stop services.
    12. We shall not be responsible for any cancellation of cabs or buses due to bad weather and are not liable for it.
    13. In Himachal, Leh Ladakh, Kashmir, Uttarakhand, and North East, the facilities of hotels, services, aids, etc., cannot be matched to developed destinations. Hotels in these regions are categorized based on location, services, and cost, and not as per star categorization (1*, 2*, 3*, 4*, 5*, etc.).

    7. The remaining 50% of the package cost will be collected either upon arrival on the first day of the tour or 1-7 days prior to the trip.

    3. -If cancelled between 15-29 days prior to departure: 50% of the total tour cost will be deducted.
