    Day: 0 Delhi to Shimla-Overnight Journey by Volvo

    Board the Volvo from Delhi's designated pick-up point (please arrive on time). Enjoy a comfortable overnight journey to Shimla, the "Queen of Hills," famous for its scenic beauty and colonial charm. Arrive in Shimla the next morning.

    Day 1: Arrival & Full Day Local Sightseeing

    Upon arrival in Shimla, start with Kali Bari Temple, Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, and Jakhoo Temple. Visit Vaishno Devi Gufa and Sankat Mochan Temple. In the evening, explore Lakkar Bazar, Rani Jhansi Park, State Library, Lower Bazar, Mall Road, The Ridge, Gaiety Theatre, Tibetan Market, and Scandal Point. Check into your hotel for an overnight stay.

    Day 2: Shimla to Kufri

    2. Transfers & sightseeing by individual car covering all the listed Destinations according to the itinerary.

    2. The company reserves the right to reschedule sightseeing days to ensure the smooth execution of tours. All guests must carry a valid Indian government-issued photo address proof, including for children.
    3. Please provide your pick-up and drop-off times.
    4. For those booking only the cab service, please book or look for hotels within a 9 to 10 km radius of the main city to avoid extra travel charges. Cab operator service hours for local sightseeing are from 09:00 AM to 07:00 PM. For safety reasons, please avoid late-night walks. If the vehicle is used late at night, additional compensation for the driver will be required. Please consider all sightseeing activities as per the time and travel schedule. There are no timing restrictions on arrival and departure days.
    5. Please respond by return mail so we can proceed with the advance booking formalities. Upon reflecting the amount in our account, we will send you a reservation voucher.
    6. Help us keep our surroundings clean by avoiding littering, spitting, drinking, and smoking in public places and in all aspects (advisory only).
    7. AC is complimentary in flat areas, but in hill stations, AC will not be used (mostly for North India and North East regions). All vehicles hired are on a point-to-point basis and not on disposal. If AC services are required in hill areas, it will be on a direct payment basis.
    8. Sightseeing days may need to be rescheduled due to the closing of any monument on a particular day to ensure the smooth execution of tours.
    9. Check-in and check-out times are as per hotel policies.
    10. Meal timings must be followed as instructed by the hotels. We shall not be responsible for any un-availed meals.
    11. In case of non-payment, either advance or remaining, the company has the right to stop services.
    12. We shall not be responsible for any cancellation of cabs or buses due to bad weather and are not liable for it.
    13. In Himachal, Leh Ladakh, Kashmir, Uttarakhand, and North East, the facilities of hotels, services, aids, etc., cannot be matched to developed destinations. Hotels in these regions are categorized based on location, services, and cost, and not as per star categorization (1*, 2*, 3*, 4*, 5*, etc.).


    Booking Policy

    1. Travel Documents: It is the responsibility of the traveler to ensure that all necessary travel documents, including passport, visa, and travel insurance, are in order.
    2. No discount will be provided after confirmation.
    3. The company shall not be responsible for any delays or cancellations due to heavy traffic jams, blocked roads, technical faults, strikes, natural disasters, or any unforeseen events. Such situations may also require extra services at additional costs.
    4. Reservation Policy for Package Booking
    5. To secure your package booking, an initial payment of 50% is required at the time of reservation.
    6. The remaining 50% of the package cost will be collected either upon arrival on the first day of the tour or 1-7 days prior to the trip.

    8. For flight, train, or bus bookings, a 100% payment is required to confirm the reservation.

    3. -If cancelled between 15-29 days prior to departure: 50% of the total tour cost will be deducted.

How To Reach

1. By Air

The nearest airport is Jubbarhatti Airport, approximately 22 km from Shimla. However, it has limited flights, primarily connecting to major cities like Delhi and Chandigarh.

From the airport, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to Shimla.

Alternatively, you can fly to Chandigarh Airport (about 120 km away) or Delhi Airport (about 350 km away) and continue by road or rail.

2. By Train

The nearest broad-gauge railway station is in Kalka, about 96 km away. From Kalka, you can take the famous Kalka-Shimla Toy Train, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which offers scenic views and a unique travel experience.

Toy Train Duration: 5-6 hours

Alternate Option: Taxis and buses are also available from Kalka to Shimla.

3. By Road

Shimla is well-connected by road to major cities in North India:

From Delhi: About 350 km (7-8 hours)

From Chandigarh: About 115 km (3-4 hours)

Regular buses, including Volvo, luxury, and state-run options, are available from Delhi, Chandigarh, and other nearby cities.

4. By Self-Drive

You can drive to Shimla via NH5. The roads are in good condition, and the drive offers breathtaking views. Ensure you're comfortable with hilly terrain driving.

Recommended Route (from Delhi): Delhi → Panipat → Ambala → Chandigarh → Solan → Shimla.
