Mountain Chain Travel Pvt Ltd regions of Leh, Kargil, Lahaul, and Spiti are landscapes that are one of their kind and cannot be found anywhere else in the country. It comprises a high-altitude cold desert, high-altitude snow-capped peaks, and bare stretches of peaks of various colors shaped by the various forces of nature. These Trans Himalayan regions are quite remote with extreme climatic conditions, high-altitude mountain ranges, and impenetrable mountain passes. Despite this, the people of the region have adapted themselves to the conditions and happily live here. This region also has several Buddhist Monasteries (locally called gompas) because Buddhism is practiced majorly by the people of this region who can visit. These monasteries have serene surroundings and are situated in really pretty locations. The best times to visit this area are from early June to the end of September. It is also fine to travel during the monsoons as it does not rain much here in this region. You will also visit the 1000-year-old lang(temple). Key Monastery: A must-visit tourist place in Spiti Valley, the Key Gompa is encircled by picturesque mountains and soothing valleys. During this trip, you will be visiting the ancient monasteries, which are famous all over the world like Key Monastery, and Tabo Monastery.
Start early at 5:00 AM from Delhi to avoid traffic. Travel via Panipat, Karnal, Chandigarh, and Solan, with breakfast at Murthal and lunch near Dharampur. Reach Shimla by evening, explore Mall Road and The Ridge, then stay overnight.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Sangla, enjoying the scenic mountain route in daylight. Stop at Narkanda for breakfast and take in the beautiful views of the Sutlej River along the way. In Sangla, visit Kamru Fort or stroll through the apple orchards. Reach Chitkul by late afternoon to explore the village and admire the stunning Baspa River valley. Overnight stay will be in guesthouses or homestays in Chitkul.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Sangla or Chitkul and drive to Nako via Sangla, Karcham, and Reckong Peo. Stop briefly at Karcham Dam for photos and visit Reckong Peo Market for supplies or snacks. After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Nako and drive towards Kaza, stopping en route for sightseeing in Tabo. Key attractions include Tabo Monastery, one of the oldest Himalayan monasteries; Dhankar Monastery, perched atop a cliff with breathtaking views; and Mud Village, a tranquil spot within Pin Valley National Park. Overnight stay will be in Kaza.
After breakfast, get ready for a day of local sightseeing in Kaza. Visit Komik, the world’s highest motorable village; Hikkim, home to the highest post office where you can send postcards; Langza, famous for its giant Buddha statue and fossil hunting; and the historic Key Monastery, which offers panoramic views of the Spiti Valley. Overnight stay in Kaza.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Kaza and drive to Kalpa. Enjoy the thrilling journey along the Hindustan-Tibet Highway, known for its adventurous route. Stop at Reckong Peo Viewpoint to admire stunning views of the Kinner Kailash range. In the evening, take a stroll through Kalpa Village, famous for its apple orchards. Overnight stay in Kalpa.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Kalpa and drive to Shimla, passing through Rampur and Narkanda. Stop at Narkanda to enjoy the views or visit Hatu Peak if time permits. Arrive in Shimla by evening and check in to your hotel. Overnight stay in Shimla.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Shimla and drive to Delhi via Chandigarh. Depart early in the morning to reach Delhi by evening.

For those booking only the cab service, please book or look for hotels within a 9 to 10 km radius of the main city to avoid extra travel charges. Cab operator service hours for local sightseeing are from 09:00 AM to 07:00 PM. For safety reasons, please avoid late-night walks. If the vehicle is used late at night, additional compensation for the driver will be required. Please consider all sightseeing activities as per the time and travel schedule. There are no timing restrictions on arrival and departure days.

AC is complimentary in flat areas, but in hill stations, AC will not be used (mostly for North India and North East regions). All vehicles hired are on a point-to-point basis and not on disposal. If AC services are required in hill areas, it will be on a direct payment basis.
Sightseeing days may need to be rescheduled due to the closing of any monument on a particular day to ensure the smooth execution of tours.

In Himachal, Leh Ladakh, Kashmir, Uttarakhand, and North East, the facilities of hotels, services, aids, etc., cannot be matched to developed destinations. Hotels in these regions are categorized based on location, services, and cost, and not as per star categorization (1*, 2*, 3*, 4*, 5*, etc.).

The company shall not be responsible for any delays or cancellations due to heavy traffic jams, blocked roads, technical faults, strikes, natural disasters, or any unforeseen events. Such situations may also require extra services at additional costs.
Reservation Policy for Package Booking
To secure your package booking, an initial payment of 50% is required at the time of reservation.
The remaining 50% of the package cost will be collected either upon arrival on the first day of the tour or 1-7 days prior to the trip.
