This overnight trip lets you rest while making the most of your travel time.

    Arrive in Shimla in the morning and take some time to freshen up before beginning your scenic 4x4 drive to Sarahan via Narkanda and Rampur, covering approximately 150 km in 5 to 6 hours. Enjoy breakfast en route at a local dhaba or restaurant, followed by a warm lunch stop at a roadside eatery in Narkanda. Upon reaching Sarahan, visit the famous Bhimakali Temple and take in the breathtaking Himalayan views. In the evening, unwind by a cozy bonfire before settling in for an overnight stay at your accommodation in Sarahan.

    After enjoying a hearty breakfast at your accommodation in Sarahan, embark on a scenic 4x4 drive through picturesque valleys and past the Karcham Dam to reach Sangla, covering approximately 80 km in 4 to 5 hours. Spend the afternoon exploring the serene Baspa River, historic Kamru Fort, and visit Chitkul, India’s last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan border.     After breakfast at your stay in Kaza, embark on a 4x4 drive to explore the stunning villages and monasteries nearby, covering around 50–60 km in 4 to 5 hours. Enjoy lunch at a local café near Langza or Kibber as you take in the breathtaking Himalayan scenery. Visit the iconic Key Monastery, one of Spiti’s most revered Buddhist centers, then explore Kibber, one of the highest inhabited villages in the world. Cross the remarkable Chicham Bridge, Asia’s highest bridge, and continue to Langza, famous for its gigantic Buddha statue and panoramic mountain views.     Sightseeing:

    Sightseeing at all destinations mentioned in the itinerary.

    Entry fees and permits for all sightseeing destinations, arranged by the organizer.

    Personal Expenses:

    1. Suitable for individuals with good physical fitness. Consultation with a doctor is recommended for high-altitude travel.

  2. From Shimla or Chandigarh, you can continue your journey by road to Spiti Valley.

By Road (Recommended):

  1. The best and only operational winter route to Spiti is via Shimla – Narkanda – Sangla – Kinnaur – Spiti Valley.
  2. The Manali route is closed in winter due to heavy snowfall at Kunzum Pass.
  3. The entire journey from Shimla to Spiti is best undertaken with a 4x4 vehicle, especially during winter, to handle rugged and snowy roads safely.
