Ladakh is a rich cultural state so, we have made this custom in-house Leh Ladakh cultural tour itinerary for those who want to experience a subtle touch to its Culture And Heritage. As you will soon realise after reaching Leh, one of the most popular activities for visitors to Ladakh is touring some of the amazing Buddhist monasteries that Ladakh is blessed with. Even for those less interested in the interiors of monasteries with all their religious icons and shrines, many of the gompas are simply beautiful structures, worth admiring in themselves. Usually, Monasteries are built-in dramatic locations on the top of hills or ridges with some even constructed in or around caves, situated high up on a cliff-face. Being usually surrounded by lots of prayer-wheels, even just a walk around the boundaries of village gompa can be a very rewarding experience, allowing time for a moment’s reflection, as well as soaking up the Cultural Atmosphere of life in the villages, that just goes to say that no Leh Ladakh cultural tour is complete without these beautiful gompas (monastery). In summer, villages are alive with activity. Everyone is busy working on the fields and the animals. Splashing streams boosted by summer snow-melt and lined with shady willow trees, glitter amongst the fields green with swaying barley. Beautiful houses with gardens of extravagant flowers nestle amongst the trees and fields, full of birdsong and the cries of the villagers as they work their fields.
Upon arrival at Leh Airport, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy a welcome tea or coffee to help you acclimate to the high altitude. Spend the day resting and relaxing to adjust to the environment. In the evening, visit the beautiful Shanti Stupa and explore Leh Market, soaking in the local atmosphere.
Begin your day with an early breakfast and set out for a full-day city tour. Visit the historic Shey Palace, the impressive Thiksey Monastery, and the Stok Palace Museum to delve into local history and culture. After enjoying lunch, continue your exploration with visits to the Hall of Fame, Kali Mata Temple at Spituk Monastery, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and the famous Magnetic Hill. Conclude the day with a visit to Sangam, the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La, the highest motorable pass in the world at 5,602 meters (18,390 feet). Enjoy spectacular panoramic views as you descend into the valley. Upon arrival, visit the Sumoor area and check into a comfortable fixed camp or hotel near Deskit. In the evening, relax and enjoy dinner at the camp before overnighting there.
In the morning, visit Deskit Monastery, explore the charming village of Hundar, and experience the unique Sand Dunes, where you have the option to enjoy a short camel safari on the iconic double-humped Bactrian camels. Later in the afternoon or evening, continue your journey to your next destination. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy leisure time, including the opportunity to browse for souvenirs and local crafts.
After breakfast, depart for Pangong Lake via Changla Pass, which stands at 5,486 meters. Enjoy breathtaking views as you cross this high-altitude pass. Continue your drive to Pangong Lake, situated at an altitude of 4,250 meters, and marvel at its mesmerizing hues that change throughout the day as the sunlight shifts. Recognized as one of the largest brackish lakes in Asia, Pangong Lake offers a truly spectacular setting. Spend the day exploring the stunning surroundings, capturing photos, and soaking in the natural beauty. For overnight accommodation, you can check into a fixed tented camp near the lake at Spangmik or opt for a hotel or guesthouse in Tangtse, depending on your preference.
Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over Pangong Lake, a truly memorable experience. After breakfast, begin your return drive to Leh via Changla Pass. Along the way, visit Hemis Monastery, the largest and most famous monastery in Ladakh, renowned for its vibrant festivals and rich history. Continue your journey with a stop at the picturesque Thiksey Monastery, known for its stunning architecture and panoramic views. Arrive in Leh in the evening for dinner and overnight stay, reflecting on the day's incredible sights.

For those booking only the cab service, please book or look for hotels within a 9 to 10 km radius of the main city to avoid extra travel charges. Cab operator service hours for local sightseeing are from 09:00 AM to 07:00 PM. For safety reasons, please avoid late-night walks. If the vehicle is used late at night, additional compensation for the driver will be required. Please consider all sightseeing activities as per the time and travel schedule. There are no timing restrictions on arrival and departure days.

Help us keep our surroundings clean by avoiding littering, spitting, drinking, and smoking in public places and in all aspects (advisory only).
AC is complimentary in flat areas, but in hill stations, AC will not be used (mostly for North India and North East regions). All vehicles hired are on a point-to-point basis and not on disposal. If AC services are required in hill areas, it will be on a direct payment basis.
Sightseeing days may need to be rescheduled due to the closing of any monument on a particular day to ensure the smooth execution of tours.
Check-in and check-out times are as per hotel policies.

In case of non-payment, either advance or remaining, the company has the right to stop services.

In Himachal, Leh Ladakh, Kashmir, Uttarakhand, and North East, the facilities of hotels, services, aids, etc., cannot be matched to developed destinations. Hotels in these regions are categorized based on location, services, and cost, and not as per star categorization (1*, 2*, 3*, 4*, 5*, etc.).

Reservation Policy for Package Booking
To secure your package booking, an initial payment of 50% is required at the time of reservation.
The remaining 50% of the package cost will be collected either upon arrival on the first day of the tour or 1-7 days prior to the trip.

The most convenient way is to fly to Leh Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, which is well-connected with major Indian cities like Delhi, Chandigarh, and Srinagar. From the airport, you can hire a taxi or arrange transfers to your accommodation.
From Srinagar or Manali, you can undertake a scenic road trip to Leh. These routes are popular among travelers seeking adventure and stunning landscapes.
The Leh-Manali Highway and Srinagar-Leh Highway are open during the summer months (typically from June to October) and are known for their breathtaking views.
You can hire a taxi, rent a self-drive vehicle, or join a guided tour.
The nearest major railway station is Jammu Tawi or Pathankot. From there, you can take a bus or hire a taxi to Leh. However, since Leh does not have a railway station, this route involves a combination of train and road travel.
